First, there was Amy Chua and America media’s attacks about how exactly she was raising her kids. And then yesterday, Wendi Deng Murdoch, wife of Rupert Murdoch, stepped into the limelight when she jumped up and slapped a guy trying to “pie” her husband. Certainly not all press is good press, it’s what you make of it. And if we, as Asian American women, want to direct the way our stories are being told in the media then we need to start talking.
